Features ¡Dance to the rythm!
These dolls represent a morenada couple. The morenada is a traditional folcloric dance of Bolivia, very popular during the festivity od The Jesus of Great Power entry in La Paz. The man is wearing a plumage hat, an embroided vest, a shirt, an embroided skirt-like garment (pollerin), and a pair of embroided boots. He is holding a "matraca" which he uses to create the typical Morenada rythm. The woman is wearing a borsalin hat, an embroied shawl, an embroided typical skirt (pollera), a "matraca" and a pair of shoes.
