Features STORY BEHIND THE BACKPACK: Awayo is a typical wool from the region of the Andes. It was historically worn by native South American women.
REPRESENTATION: For wool to be considered Awayo, it must have opposite nuances between stripes. The contrasted was designed to represent the Allqamari, a typical bird from the Andes region. The change in customs led to dyeing the aguayos of colorful dyes. They are the pleasure of the natives and also of the tourists and that serves to stand out in the earthy landscape of the Andes.
