Absolutely wonderful work of art!! A great example of this talented Luthier's work, this instrument was a special request of mine, I knew I would get a quality instrument, however this instrument is just simply beautiful to look at, a wonder for it's size.

'Garcia' Charango de Concierto de Sotomara
I received the Charango package today. There was no damage and everything appears in order. I need to get a tuner and try it out. But, from what I can see, everything is just fine.
I’ll send you an e mail after I tune it up which may take a few days or more. I’m sure I’ll have some friends that may want to get one later after they play mine. Charangos are hard to find in the United States. I’ll have them contact you.

A truly unique instrument from a trusted supplier. The action and tone are exceptional once the subtleties of tuning are mastered. A very good example of Bolivian craftsmanship. You can buy similar elsewhere at inflated prices, but this instrument has to be heard to be believed. I f you are a guitar player looking for the unusual then look no further!!!

I ordered this package after hearing charango played by the Chilean charanguista Hector Soto from Chile. Whilst I prefer the Chilean style of playing it appears without doubt that the best charangos are made in Bolivia. This is an excellent introduction to charango. The instrument received together with accessories exceeded my expectations, and my family and friends have commented on the sweet tone of the charango supplied. The DVD of Los Kjarjas is absolutely brilliant. Do not buy elsewhere.

This is a superb, responsive instrument. A classical flautist and guitarist, I have just recently taken a great interest in Andean Music and although I thought I had a good enough quena and was perservering with the difficult higher notes, having just bought this instrument, I can scarcely put it down!
